4 of Pentacles, Knight of Cups, Death

The key aspect for this week is change, being stuck in old ways is no longer an option, change can lead to fears that have to be dealt with, but sometimes adrenalin can help us through. Its about going with the flow as fighting against the current or clinging to the past is futile, we have to let go in order for something new to take its place. At an extreme level its about change or die!
“The 4 of Pentacles
The Four of Pentacles is giving me the sense of feeling a bit stuck temporarily in the old ways. He has come up often in the last few months and it feels to me like a final clinging on to the past. Thinking we will be safe if we just sit tight, possibly coming from our old viewpoints, but it feels as though this is no longer an option. Throughout the month, shifts have been made, and this may feel a little strange and may cause us to react by going into fear.
The Knight of Cups
The Knight of Cups is suggesting flow to me. His element is water, and we must be like water and flow with the current rather than trying to fight against it. It feels as though change is inevitable, so clinging on to the earthly rock of the 4 of Pentacles will not serve us. We need to let go.
Death
The meaning of Death is transformation. A real, and sometimes, quite large shift. It is made easier by going with the flow of the Knight. I was struck by the how similar the images of the Knight of Cups and Death are. If you ponder for a moment, you will see. I feel this is about accepting the change rather than fighting it, however this is presenting itself in our world.”
